The Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for assisting in identifying the learning and development needs for clinical staff. Assess competencies and needs for additional training and education and develop all educational programs to address issues.  Ideal candidate will develop classroom learning plans evaluate the clinical staff performance in the field utilizing a field visit tool. Clinical Nurse Educator provides feedback to clinical staff, managers and regional directors based on documentation evaluation, competency training, and field evaluations.

The ideal candidate must possess a current NYS Registered Nurse license and registration a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Three (3) years of experience in an Acute Care setting required. Staff development or adult instruction, and/or home care experience preferred. Knowledge of Department of Health and Managed Long Term Care standards for home care required. MS Office required. Ability to speak effectively before groups or customers or employees of the organization.
