Position Summary
We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our Corporate Human Resources team. This position is responsible for performing HR-related duties in areas such as recruiting, employment, employee and management training, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and other special projects.
Responsibilities
- Provides guidance to employees and management regarding employee relations issues. Escalates high-potential liability situations for the company to HR Director. Advises and interprets policies, procedures and employment law. Ensures that personnel policies and procedures are followed.
- Responsible for driving various HR initiatives and programs such as Code of Conduct and sexual harassment training for division, region or subsidiary, may conduct new hire orientation and yearly employee opinion survey administration and feedback sessions for employee/management group. May be responsible for various HR-related management trainings on an as needed basis.
- Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives.
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates.
- Organize annual employee performance reviews.
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
- Assist with the administration of compensation and benefit plans.
- May advise and help direct HR Coordinator with various questions and daily operational task
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, liberal arts (psychology, sociology, etc.), industrial relations or organizational development.
- A minimum of three years of previous progressive experience as a HR specialist/generalist.
- Strong knowledge of HR/personnel practices and principles, and all applicable labor, pay, benefits, health and safety laws and regulations.
- Able to handle high level of confidentiality and common sense regarding employee information.
- Ability to mulitask with strong time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Compensation
- Base Salary: $70,000-$80,000
- FLSA Status: Exempt
- Bonus Type: Year-end Discretionary
