Rexco Equipment, Inc Looking for Equipment Logistics Coordinator at Cedar Rapids, IA Full Time

Looking for a logistics position? We have an exciting opportunity for you! Due to our growth, we have added an Equipment Logistics Coordinator position. You will have all drivers across the company reporting to you and you will dispatch them daily. Each day will be different, fun and challenging as you receive equipment movement requests from our different locations. Then you will evaluate the logistics needs and dispatch drivers for effective time management and cost effectiveness. Our freight line item is yours to manage and bill out ensuring it is revenue generating for us.

We need to haul our heavy equipment using third party transportation. That will be your job, to build relationships with those vendors and line up the transport of our equipment. You need to be determined to find the most cost-effective way to transport our equipment sold out of the country too. We may have equipment going to South America or Africa and you will get to line that transport up! Our trucks and trailers fall under DOT regulations so you will maintain files on our fleet and ensure our drivers are following the rules ensuring our DOT compliance.
