About Our Job Opening
We are looking for a talented HR Generalist/Coordinator who will be responsible for the successful administration of all HR, supporting projects and programs for the local operation, in Poplar Bluff, MO and liaises to the Corporate HR team. In this role you will ultimately support building a workplace team members enjoy, feel heard, supported and relied upon for their personal contributions. This position offers growth potential as the business volume increases and as the incumbent’s strengths grow. Day to Day Responsibilities
- HR Administration, Program & Project Support i.e., employee relations, talent acquisition efforts, talent management initiatives.
- Support the recruitment process, including but not limited to editing of job postings, placing job advertisements, planning and conducting talent acquisition events, interviewing, and ensure candidate follow up with smooth documented communication flow.
- Support new hire onboarding initiatives (issue offers, process background checks) and ensure employees know where to go on their first day and how to obtain necessary resources to be successful in their role; coordinating internal resources and manager is prepared to onboard.
- Support talent management initiatives including performance management, training and development, and succession planning.
- Ensure org communication and e-systems are successful with clear and concise info being passed from leadership to staff, and peer-to-peer (e.g. intranet, handbook, etc.) – all team members should know how their role fits into the bigger picture.
- Special projects as needed to facilitate the success of the HR team and the local operation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent work experience.
- Previous work experience in a 3 shift manufacturing environment, preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience with HRIS technology, timekeeping, leave administration, workers comp, OSHA, employee relations, employment law, performance management, and recruiting a plus.

- Strong problem solving/judgment skills; high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Be able to work proficiently in MS Office programs.
