RevaComm Looking for Accounting Manager at Remote Full Time

As an Accounting Manager, you will join our growing Finance team and be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our finance and accounting team while directly reporting to our Controller. You will lead the team in ensuring that establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles. In addition to this, you will also support annual audits, project work focused on compliance and accuracy and striving to lead our teams to meet healthy financial objectives.

We serve the Department of Defense, financial institutions, healthcare, state, local and federal government, and other industries along with their customers.

Your Daily Responsibilities Can Include:

• Oversee monthly general ledger closings and responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger
• Maintain the integrity of the accounting systems, financial reports and accounting records
• Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information
• Maintain and balance accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies
• Perform financial analysis and reconciliation of accounts
• Partner with operations to manage the monthly forecasts
• Prepare cost projections
• Analyze and report on the current financial status
• Conduct thorough research of historical financial data
• Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement
• Contribute to the development of annual operating budgets and performance projections
• Review accounting transactions for data accuracy
• Establish financial policies
• Prepare journal entries, financial reports, schedules and analyses for reporting requirements set forth by management
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, assisting with taxes and audit
• Be responsible for functions related to cash management
• Be responsible for maintaining prudent financial and accounting policies, procedures and practices, including strong internal controls to safeguard the assets of the organization
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in field accounting/finance experience, ideally in a technology company
• BS/MS in Accounting, Finance, a similar field of study, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 2 years experience in audit
• US Citizen (must be able to pass a background check)

It’s A Plus If You Have:

• Experience in public accounting and tax
• Familiarity with managing teams and leading conversations on professional development
• CPA certification is a plus

Salary Range: Negotiable, Based on Experience

Seniority Level: Mid-Senior level
