The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for the execution of email marketing strategy to support B2B growth campaigns. They are responsible for in-platform emails and landing page builds, email list building, A/B testing, and reporting on email performance in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Executing all phases of an email program including: building emails, developing drip and nurture campaigns, target lists, testing, quality assurance, and launching emails in our marketing automation system, Pardot.
• Partnering with key stakeholders to plan and schedule email programs across different verticals and products, target segments, and territories.
• Ensuring emails meet established branding standards and best practice guidelines
• Following established approvals process, apply changes as requested by business stakeholders, and ensure final creative assets meet their deadline
• Assisting with daily QA/copy editing with fellow team members for the purposes of digital optimization, which includes but is not limited to: grammatical errors, parallel messaging, consistent tone, conciseness, syntax, brand consistency, best practices, etc.
• Developing and/or implementing A/B testing strategies, applying learnings to future campaigns as needed
• Troubleshooting HTML/CSS issues with emails
• Staying current on email best practices
• Providing monthly and quarterly reports on the health of the email program and apply learnings to future campaigns as needed
• Driving and supporting the development of new processes to improve efficiencies and increase visibility of project management, marketing activities, etc. If you see a more efficient way, get buy-in and implement it into the existing process
• Building landing pages and forms as needed in Pardot
• Other projects and tasks as assigned

YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:

• 1-3 years experience in digital marketing
• 1-3 years with marketing automation (preferably Pardot)
• HTML/CSS knowledge for email marketing
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Graphic Design or related area
• Excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication
• Solid understanding of email marketing best practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, strong attention to detail, solid presentation skills, and proven ability to run effective meetings; comfortable interacting at all levels of an organization
• Can-do attitude with a demonstrated ability to get things done under minimal supervision and drive results across cross-functional teams
• Experience managing and creating customer email journeys
• Experience using Pardot, Marketo, or other marketing automation software
• Experience with HTML/CSS specifically for email marketing, with the ability to troubleshoot issues in Outlook email client
• Experience using SalesForce, Airtable, and general marketing attribution and reporting (recommended but not required)

IT WOULD BE NICE IF YOU HAVE:

• 1-3 years’ experience in marketing
