We have an immediate opening for an experienced Network engineer for a hybrid WFH position in Central NJ. Position includes holidays, vacation and holidays.  
location: Woodbridge, New Jersey

salary: $52 – 57 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm
education: Bachelors
 
responsibilities:

Network Engineer will be responsible for managing and administering company networks, network devices from multiple vendors, system security and compliance, network monitoring, network access controls and provide multi-level operational support.

Manage production and development network systems in a hybrid cloud environment.

Respond and resolve to production network related operational issues.

Manage and support network monitoring systems.

Author and manage network and procedure documentation.

Manage and troubleshoot network access controls.

Qualifications

Associates or Bachelor’s degree or relevant hands on experience.

Ability to collaborate with resources across multiple disciplines including Platform Engineering, Servers Engineering, Application Development and Information Security.

Minimum of 7 years of experience engineering and supporting technologies from the following list:

Cisco Switching and Routing

Viptela SD-WAN Rout

Cisco Firewalls

Palo Alto Firewalls

F5 Big-IP LTM Load Balancers

Riverbed Steelcentral, Appresponse and NetProiler

Solarwinds Orion

Extrahop Discovery

Forescout CounterACT

Meraki Wireless LAN

Bluecoat/Symantec Proxies

ServiceNow

Understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.

Experience working at financial institutions and with financial applications preferred.

Excellent analytical skills.

Organizational, time management and communication skills.

Must be able to author work instructions, best practice documents and procedures which can be followed by others.

Demonstrate the ability to master new and diverse technologies.

Proven ability to work well in and contribute to a team environment.

Dependable and flexible when necessary.
