Randstad Engineering Solutions is looking for qualified software engineers to join our embedded software development team creating a new Flight Management System. Remote positions available! Join our team today!
Job Description:
The FMS (Flight Management Systems) Software Engineer will work in a dynamic teaming environment interfacing with engineers from various areas including system, software, process, and tools group.
You will be expected to perform the following:
— Develop software requirements
— Develop code
— Perform hardware/software integration including checkout on target hardware
— Perform software verification and validation
Candidates must have a BSCE or equivalent and experience in Flight Management Systems.
Responsibilities
Required Skills:
Experience with FMS (Flight Management Systems)
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Software Development and Test
Experience with software configuration management and change management
Experience with Agile development
These would be a plus:
DO-178B/178C software requirements and real-time avionics embedded systems integration
Bitbucket, Jira, DOORS development tools
Ada
Datalink Communications, User Interface and Performance FMS subsystems
