Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Partner with Business Process Manager for day-to-day strategic guidance and setting of priorities
– Assist in developing and documenting OCM plans and timelines
– Collaborate with project Design Leads and Subject Matter Experts to collect, interpret, and validate technical information and business procedures
– Analyze project requirements and audience to determine types of documents and methods needed to provide the most effective training for user acceptance
– Design, create, write, and edit a range of documents, including standard operating procedures, quick reference guides, technical specifications, training materials and supporting documents, to name a few
– Make sure written, digital, and video deliverables have continuity of design and messaging
– Ensure materials across all media formats are tailored to the aptitude and skill set of the specific end user groups
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s or Associate degree in the field of English, communications, or business administration
– Background in technology is desirable
– 5 years of technical writing and editing experience, with specific experience in documenting retail, finance and/or information technology software systems preferred
– Excellent Microsoft Office, Visio, and PowerPoint skills
– Highly self-motivated and directed with strong prioritization skills
