Job Description
A Fully Remote Python Data Engineer job is available through Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions. Qualified candidates will have several years of Python core programming experience, including PEP-8 and Pydantic. In this role, you will be responsible for large-scale Python programming and data engineering for a client-facing website. In addition to Python, you will also be tasked with being proficient in Pandas, NumPy, SQL, JSON, REST, and other data-rich backend APIs. This is a 3+ month contract opportunity with a high probability of multiple extensions. Candidates can expect pay rates between $60-85/hour.
Python Data Engineer Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Design, develop, and implement new front-end applications.
– Develop enterprise software with an Agile SW development process.
– Test software and debug if needed.
– Create and implement security software.
– Use API to create automated PDF documentation.
– Export data to OneDrive or Airtable.
Python Data Engineer Requirements:
– Proficient experience as a Python Data Engineer building enterprise production-quality software.
– Very fluent in Python core, Object-Oriented Python, “Pythonic” coding, PEP-8, dictionaries, and type hints; Pydantic a plus.
– Proficient in Pandas, NumPy, dealing with large-scale time series data frames, vectorization
– Strong understanding of object modeling principles, SQL, DDL, JSON, databases like MongoDB, and libraries like SQLAlchemy
– Experience coding high-performance data-rich back-end REST APIs using libraries like FastAPI
– ML engineering, experience with SciPy and Scikit-Learn is preferred but not required.
– Basic working knowledge of React/Angular, sufficient to make minor enhancements and review code from UI developers.
