Job Description
The Puyenpa family of companies are comprised of multiple SBA Certified Native American Tribal 8(a) and multi-certified organizations focused on delivering Information Technology, Management Consulting, and General Construction solutions to the Federal Government along with the Commercial Sector. We are actively seeking a Senior Employment Facilitator based in Honolulu, HI. This is a part time, onsite role.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Puyenpa team supporting the DOLVETS/TAPS program assisting transitioning service members, and their families. The experience, and qualifications we seek for this role include:
- BA/BS degree from accredited university and at least 3 years Transition Assistance (TAP) training experience OR an Associate’s degree and 5 years Transition Assistance (TAP) training experience.
- Previous experience which demonstrates understanding of private and public sector employment processes
- Previous experience as a Transition Assistance (TAP) classroom instructor or career counselor
- Able to communicate effectively, be comfortable instructing and speaking in front of a group, be observant of others, possess the ability to engage an audience, and respond to inquiries independently.
- Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Proficient in MS Windows and Office.
