In search of an email marketing manager to build marketing programs to increase user engagement and revenue across our premium products. The email marketing manager will be responsible for developing marketing strategy in collaboration with other channel owners, building and executing campaigns on our marketing automation platforms, and measuring success through rigorous data analysis. The email marketing manager will also be responsible for growing and maintaining the health of the email base.
Job Responsibilities
· Manage email and SMS marketing program including advanced automation, journeys, segmentation, and personalization for marketing, transactional and operational campaigns
· Oversee the email and SMS development process, including ideation, creative production, testing, deployment, and reporting
· Responsible for daily email production QA support to ensure correct linking, content, audiences, scheduling, and tracking
· Partner and collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, design, and business operations to align on initiatives and success metrics
· Work across ecommerce and digital marketing to develop coordinated digital marketing campaigns
· Assist with the development of emails and management of Pure Hockey’s affiliate program including monthly reporting and recruiting of affiliates
· Leverage customer data to drive a personalized and contextual experiences to increase customer retention and evaluate new opportunities for customer segmentation and personalization
· Identify and troubleshoot delivery issues and drive rapid resolution with support of technical team
· Monitor and provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and insights (for total email/SMS, and by campaign/segment), identifying opportunities to drive optimal open rates, click rates, and revenue per send
· Identify and prioritize opportunities for email triggers, personalization, targeted offers, testing, and segmentation
· Manage publications and email and SMS marketing calendars and content, along with external vendor relationships
· Execute ad-hoc behavioral triggered email and SMS campaigns as needed
· Stay current with best practices, strategies, and industry standards related to email; ensure best practices through email compliance and spam regulation
