The Central Hiring Manager is responsible for checking applications, interviewing, hiring, scheduling, orientation, onboarding and checking to see that all required trainings are completed.
Hiring and Onboarding
Participate in recruiting efforts including job fairs, hiring booths, and postings. Utilize Success Factors to hire for open positions. Interview applicants and makes employment decisions. Extend employment offers and assist new hires in completing the paperwork process. Host new employee orientation and onboarding to ensure all pre-shift training is complete.
Training
Ensure the training of all student employees are trained in Universal Precaution, Haz Com, Blood borne Pathogens Certificate, PPE/LOTO training, PCI DSS Certificate, Cash handling training, dining welcome, Covid-19 procedures, allergies, and food handlers.
Operations
Maintain confidentiality and exhibit professional conduct when handling sensitive personal information. Maintain appropriate security of student employee personnel information. May be responsible for close down and security of the office area. Exercise accountability for the proper handling and security of all issued keys, as well as the property of the operation.
Needs to be able to work 12- 15 hours per week. Opening for summer and fall. Must be able to start on Aug. 3.
