SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (four-year college or technical school) preferred.
Experience: Expertise in landing gear repair. FAA regulatory experience related to repair stations, PMA (Parts Manufacturer Approval) processes, TSOs, STCs, etc. Experience with manufacturing processes and support. Experience in managing component repair vendors including pricing, work scope definition, and contract management.
Computer Skills: Proficient with computers and the ability to use MS Office, Corridor and other related programs.
Other Requirements: Demonstrated experience and ability to read, interpret and follow (schematics), engineering drawings, circuit layouts and parts list; (mechanical assemblies, cable harnesses and wiring diagrams). Experience with performing electronic testing and inspection.
