Principal is looking for a dynamic individual to join our RIS HR Business Partner Team! In this role, you can directly impact talent management strategies and overall business success through strong collaboration with business leaders.
Some of the main responsibilities include:

- Building and executing the talent strategy for your assigned customer groups to ensure the business has the talent needed to execute its strategy. This includes facilitating the process, integration, and reporting of plans.
- Identifying trends and obstacles preventing the business unit from reaching their strategic goals and using your problem solving skills to overcome those challenges.
- Providing consultation and coaching to leaders to help optimize their effectiveness.
- Partnering with Centers of Excellence (COE’s) to provide coordinated HR processes and solutions. Facilitate collaboration across HR teams by connecting the appropriate team members to address business needs.
- Creating aligned HR processes through effective relationship building, consulting, and collaboration.
- Representing your customer groups on various projects that advance the business strategy and/or our global HR strategy.
- Provide strategic consultation regarding talent processes and practices (performance management, compensation, talent review and succession planning).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- 8+ years of experience in HR, including experience in strategy/planning, compensation, development, talent management, and leadership
- Preferred experience with organizational design, change management and understanding of talent data
- Ability to understand data to tell a story and assist with decisions
- Deep understanding of line of business and related industry and broad understanding of business unit, or ability to quickly learn it, required
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence senior leaders
- Strong critical thinking/planning and decision-making skills with high level of diagnostic and analytical skills required
- Expert communication, facilitation and presentation skills required
Salary Range Information: Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range: $116000 – $162000 / year Additional Information:
Work Environment
This role offers the ability for in-office and hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek) work arrangements. You’ll work with your leader to determine which option may align best based on several factors.
