Primient is seeking a motivated and experienced Compensation Specialist to join our team.

As the Compensation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our compensation and benefits plans are competitive, fair, and aligned with Primient’s goals and values. You will work closely with our human resources team and leadership to implement, communicate, and evaluate our compensation programs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about creating effective and equitable compensation plans.

Key responsibilities: Job title 

• Design, implement, and deliver Primient’s compensation programs and policies
• Conduct job evaluations and participate in salary surveys to ensure competitive pay structures
• Business partner with our operational HR teams on compensation and rewards issues
• Ensure communications regarding bonus plans are completed in a timely way for target setting and payment of the bonuses
• Assist in the calculation of the bonus payments
• Analyze and interpret compensation data to provide insights and recommendations to the Human Resources team
• Monitor trends in the marketplace, including changes in legislation, and make recommendations for program changes and updates
• Provide reporting to partners in Finance and other key stakeholders
• Learn the work of our Benefits Specialist to provide partnership and back up
• Establish and run an audit program for our total rewards programs in partnership with our Payroll team
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, the Human Resources team and external vendors
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in compensation and benefits
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.  Excel skills are required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with HRIS systems and data analysis tools.  Experience utilizing Workday preferred
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits, including FLSA, EEOC, and ERISA.
