Building Products Inc. (BPI) is looking for a CDL driver that can operate in a structured environment with consistent daily routes. You get to be independent on the roads of your deliveries while maintaining friendly conversations and relationship building with our customers. Our valuable drivers consider safety a high priority and often ask “how can I serve you” with a smile on their face. They enjoy the fact that they can be home most nights. Our drivers are the last line in ensuring accurate deliveries to our customers with a positive and friendly attitude!
About the Position
As a CDL Driver, you get to become skilled at driving a tractor-trailer truck over long distance trips and building customer relationships by being the face of BPI. You will report directly to the Transportation Supervisor.
Here are a few responsibilities of your position:

Assist customers with taking pictures and getting signatures to complete delivery

Log information daily of the trips and weight of load

Clean your truck and equipment to keep in good working order

Be aware of road conditions and traffic for safe trips
In order to complete the job position, you will need a few trainable skills:

Have a valid Class-A CDL license is required (training available!)

Understand safety requirements in every stage of your day

Be able to frequently lift 50 lbs
-
Climb in and out of a semi-tractor/trailer up to 20 times a day

Requires full use of arms and shoulders to open the trailer curtains
