JOB DETAILS
This job position provides engineering support to operations, failure analysis, sustaining engineering support to improve functionality, manage production of new builds and re-builds of tools, functional testing, design and develop some components and help with operation and maintenance manuals design.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crew.
• Creating and maintaining engineering documentation relating to product specification, design, development, prototyping, testing, verification, validation, and technical regulatory compliance.
• Must be capable of preparing specifications, data sheets, inquiries, and technical bid tabs, and performing drawing reviews of mechanical equipment.
• Plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports.
• Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using drafting tools or computer-assisted design

(CAD) or drafting equipment and software.

• Evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
• Evaluate findings to develop, design, or test equipment or processes.
• Confer with engineers or other team members to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, or provide technical information.
• Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
• Conduct research that tests or analyzes the feasibility, design, operation, or performance of equipment, components, or systems.
• Develop, coordinate, or monitor all aspects of production, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, or operation of product designs.
• Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
• Monitor production rates, and plan rework processes to improve production.
• Manage and plan inventory of parts and coordinate with purchasing.
• Assist engineering and other team members to solve operating problems.
• Confer with scientific, engineering, and technical personnel to resolve design, research, and testing problems.
• Coordinate the installation, maintenance, and operation of mining and oil field equipment.
• Write technical reports for engineering and management team members.
• Assign work to staff to obtain maximum utilization of team members.
• Adhere to and ensure compliance of all Company policies, rules, procedures and housekeeping standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience; oil and gas production experience a plus.
• Understanding of oil and gas-related technical requirements and common/best practices.
• TRS/Casing Running Equipment knowledge is preferred, so there is an understanding of what the Company manufactures, industry standards and design codes, and standard requirements
• Excellent computer skills with competency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD (2D and 3D), and Solidworks.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Must be detail oriented, and strong critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent time-management skills; must work efficiently in order to produce the required output according to set schedules.
• Ability to work independently and with others and effectively communicate at all organizational levels, clients and vendors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57,861.44 – $146,927.07 per year
