Piper Companies Looking for Service Desk Engineer at Boston, MA Full Time

Piper Companies is seeking a Service Desk Engineer, in a hybrid environment to join an industry leading healthcare company based in Boston, MA. The Service Desk Engineer will provide solutions and support to both local and remote associates utilizing a wide range of technologies.

Responsibilities of the Service Desk Engineer include:

• Oversee and address all end user requests that come in via Ticketing System, phone calls, and Slack Messages
• Assist with new hire equipment procurement and setup technology
• Support both local and remote associates with any requests or issues they might have in relation to technological issues
• Support the Software upgrade cycle that includes the development of IT process and procedures
• Be responsible for researching and solving IT endpoint problems/issues
• Effectively communicate and document processes related to IT related issues
• Utilize wide range of technologies and understand internal standards and security requirements to provide top customer support

Qualifications for the Service Desk Engineer include:

• 2+ years of experience utilizing Windows and Mac operating systems and troubleshooting problems with Windows-related software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across multiple platforms that include HW, OS, and Networks
• Ability to field Tier I support requests via ticket, email, slack, and phone
• Flexibility to provide after-hours support on a rotational basis

Compensation for the Service Desk Engineer includes:

• Hourly Rate: $30 – $40/hr *depending on experience*

o Salary Range: $62,400 – $83,200
