Description
Physicians Mutual is hiring for a full time Product Analyst in our Product Management area. The selected candidate will prepare, maintain and analyze preneed and annuity data, particularly related to customer growth rate management. This employee will also develop reporting to aid in communicating financial and internal goals. This role involves preparation of reports on a monthly or ad hoc basis. This role also involves communication with a wide variety of departments including but not limited to sales and Customer Service.
Job Requirements
- 5 years of experience with data management and reporting software (Excel, Access, Tableau, etc.)
- Ability to prepare complex financial and statistical reports analyzing and reporting inter-related business assumptions.
- Ability to apply complex mathematical computations to large-scale work projects.
- Must have advanced understanding of financial concepts and insurance knowledge.
- Effectively utilize data manipulation and reporting software packages (Excel, Access, Tableau, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, well developed interpersonal skills, and solid communication skills.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Actuarial Science or relevant discipline.
- Experience in financial analysis using InsPro software.
- Previous Insurance Industry experience
