Responsibilities • Making adjustments to produce tablets of the proper weight, hardness, and thickness
• Performing quality checks on tablets using hardness tester, scales, and micrometer
• Analyzing test results using computer tasks and graphs
• Using Manufacturing Execution System to charge and yield products
• Setting up containers, filling and weighing them, and affixing labels
• Supplying blended product to tablet presses
• Performing cleaning of equipment and production area
• Assisting in changing tooling of presses for new products
• Complying with safety rules, standard operating procedures, and good manufacturing practices
• Performing other related duties as assigned
Requirements • High school diploma or GED, or 9 years of work equivalency
• Three months of manufacturing experience, compression operations knowledge preferred
Key Skills Needed • Manual dexterity to manipulate controls on compressing and testing equipment
• Ability to read English and maintain routine records
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift heavy loads, and use pallet jacks
