What You Will Achieve
The Environmental Control Aseptic Training Department is responsible for providing the technical training to all Rocky Mount Site employees in the Aseptic Certification Program and Isolator Certification Program. The Senior Aseptic Training Specialist will be responsible for scheduling and executing aseptic training. This includes but is not limited to gowning, aseptic techniques and clean room behaviors. In addition, the group is responsible for ensuring Sanitation colleagues and EM analysts are trained and knowledgeable to perform their job specific activities using proper technique. You are a recognized subject matter expert as a technical trainer with specialized knowledge and skills in Aseptic Techniques and Behavior
How You Will Achieve It
Develop attainable training plans for new employees (Aseptic, Isolator, Sanitation , EM Analyst), as applicable
Train new and existing employees on Aseptic, Isolator, Sanitation and EM Analyst training program, as applicable
Ensure existing colleagues maintain their certifications by scheduling and performing training, as applicable
Plan and provide overall support for Aseptic Media Fills on Training Line
Develop/improve/update necessary training materials
As Aseptic SME, perform necessary Aseptic assessments
Responsible for maintaining working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and emerging regulatory and compliance concerns as related to aseptic manufacturing
Work with cross-functional groups to improve the current Aseptic, Sanitation and EM Analyst training programs
Qualifications
Must-Have
Applicant must have High School Diploma (or Equivalent) with six years of relevant experience;
OR an Associate’s degree with four years of experience;
OR a Bachelor’s degree with 0+ years of experience.
Experience in an aseptic environment supporting aseptic manufacturing
Technical Training experience in a lab or manufacturing environment
Familiar with aseptic gowning and aseptic techniques
Excellent communication (oral/written), facilitation and presentation skills, deliver with passion and pride.
Good knowledge of GMP and Regulatory compliance as related to aseptic manufacturing
Must be self-directed and requires an appropriate level of education and experience to make and act upon decisions that impact the site from an aseptic standpoint
Nice-to-Have
Able to assess training needs for individual and area
Familiar with sanitation and disinfection techniques
Prior experience using a variety of computer software packages. Use of PowerPoint, and Learning Management System
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to function under a stressful situation while being able to remain focused at the necessary requirements. In addition, must be able to appropriately identify and escalate issues on a timely basis.
