We offer Complete Pet Relocation Support of transportation services for pets around the globe. We handle everything from pre-export paperwork to navigating international quarantine laws, from flight bookings to arranging for customs clearance.

The Global Logistics Coordinator’s primary job is to prepare travel plans; coordinate with internal team members and global service partners; and manage the travel day to provide care and peace of mind to every client.
The right person for this position will be detail oriented, possess excellent communication skills, research complex routing options and travel requirements, and demonstrate a proficiency in planning, organization, and prioritization. You should immensely enjoy logistical planning, organizing information and data, and have an unwavering ability to always push toward productive solutions.
You will be working with a variety of individuals both inside and outside the company, operating under minimal supervision, with wide latitude for independent judgment. You will need to be comfortable and confident in your ability to handle constant change and frequent ambiguity. We are continuously adapting to the challenges of doing business in an ever-changing industry. This is a new and exciting role at PetRelocation which will evolve over time.
Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Preparation of Travel Plans:
• Contacting and confirming availability and prices for service partners (vendors, airline, boarding and quarantine facilities if applicable)
• Identifying routing option(s) including contingency options as needed
• Construct Move Timeline
• Rework plan options as needed

Book all services:

• Flight Booking(s)
• Vendor(s) including confirmation of service with service sheets and 24 hours prior to pickup
• Send Customer Paperwork to destination agent
• Send Driver Pack
• Obtain required documentation (air waybill, customs paperwork)

Manage Travel Day(s):

• Communicate with Agents
• Flight Tracking
• Retrieve TSA and Delivery Documents from Vendors
• Quarantine Release

General/Other Duties as Assigned:

• Maintain professional and technical knowledge related to pet relocation and pet travel industries including (LAR and AWA)
• Communicate clearly to manage expectations of external and internal vendors,
• employees, and stakeholders
• Utilize industry tools including but not limited to: Airline timetables, cargo portals, time and date
• Be an active participant in improving our processes by sharing your knowledge, your ideas, and suggestions
• Update Salesforce Resources Pages including (Location, Vendor, Airline)

Required Background and Experience: *

• Experience in one or more related fields preferred: logistics, travel, medical, pet and/or administrative services
• Familiarity with CRM (Salesforce preferred) a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in planning, organizing, and prioritization
• Strength at information gathering and information monitoring
• Keen attention to detail and complex problem-solving abilities from operational and technical perspective
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with team members as a member of various cross-functional teams
• Capable of exercising independent judgment and discretion while utilizing company policies and practices to determine appropriate action

• Experience working for a small company
• Experience working with international customers and companies
• Prior experience building processes and procedures
• Previous experience with Salesforce
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in any applicable field
