Position Purpose
To develop and manage strategic direct marketing plans using data to ensure the right offers and messages are delivered to the right customer at the right times. Directs effective contact strategies and associated investment allocations to increase ROI and deliver incremental margin. Organizes the CRM team to work collaboratively across the enterprise with multiple business units and Senior Executives to define strategies, develop implementation plans and measure success for direct mail marketing programs (both Vendor and Petco funded).
Responsible for multi-million dollar print, postage and coupon budget including planning, forecasting, and approvals.
Essential Job Functions
The incumbent must be able to perform all of the following duties and responsibilities with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Support Vendor funded direct to consumer marketing programs in partnership with Vendors, Marketing and Merchandising organizations. Identify opportunities that successfully address both Petco’s and the Vendor’s goals and be accountable for measurable results and closed-loop planning. Primary CRM COE contact for all direct mail initiatives. Manage recommendations for Vendor participation, financial commitments and supporting documentation. CRM relationship manager for all CRM Vendor initiatives, developing relationships that support Petco and Vendor Initiatives and raises the profile of CRM activities. Direct campaign planning and development processes and create a compelling and consistent customer branding experience across Vendor CRM materials, ensuring alignment with Petco branding and messaging while supporting the Vendors brand. Oversee formal performance recap process, ensuring optimization of marketing spend and driving continual improvement on key performance metrics including profitability, retention, frequency, response, etc. Partner with the Marketing Analytics team to ensure they have the necessary information to provide results, design strategic test and learn plans and develop new predictive models to enhance success. Effectively communicate campaign results in a consistent and timely manner, including strategic recommendations and future adaptive plans. Demonstrate year over year improvements to Vendor CRM products through new and enhanced vehicles. Supervise 2 Campaign Analysts, providing guidance and support on campaign management and execution, as well as overseeing growth opportunities and personal development.

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
$99,600.00 – $149,400.00
Exact rate of pay will be based on position, location, and experience level.
