Perrineville Jewish Center Looking for 3rd-6th Grade Judaic Studies Teacher at Township of Millstone, NJ Full Time

LEV Academy, a Conservative leaning supplemental Hebrew School located in Millstone, NJ is seeking a passionate, driven, creative teacher to teach our 3rd/4th and 5th/6th graders (combined small classes) to join our dynamic teach of teachers for the upcoming school year. Teacher is required to be onsite, every Thursday from 4:30-6:30 pm and is responsible for teaching:

• Jewish Holidays
• Jewish Life Cycle
• Signifiant Torah Portions/Bible charachters
• Jewish Values
• Israel

Looking for someone energetic who can bring Judaim to life via experiential learning, out of the box thinking, and creative means. This teacher will receive the support of the Education Director and is seen as part of the creative process with the ability to craft and design a program that works for them as well as for our students. Must be able to work with children with learning challenges.

Hiring immediately for start date of 9/15/22.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
