Peraton Looking for Jr. Program Financial Analyst at Herndon, VA  Full Time

Peraton is seeking an entry level Program Financial Analyst to join a team of qualified, diverse individuals. The selected individual will be responsible for performing analysis of budgets, invoices, and forecasts needed to meet contractual/project requirements assigned portions of the programs. This position will be a remote/telecommuter opportunity that supports a few small programs within the Federal Programs Operating Unit.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Compile Monthly Finance Status Reports (MFSR)
• Complete monthly Revenue and Profit forecasts and analysis
• Work with billing department to review and validate monthly invoices
• Perform monthly subcontract cost accruals and analysis
• Perform weekly review of actuals to validate accurate labor charging
• Interface with management and respond to requests for financial data
• Build effective relationships with Program Management and other functions to ensure we are meeting both internal and external customer requirements/needs

This individual will work directly with the business management team, the Program Manager and other program leads to manage the overall financials of the programs. You need to be a strong collaborator and effective communicator to effectively manage the financials of these programs

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field; 4 years of experience and a HS Diploma can substitute for a Bachelor’s.
• Must possess computer skills using Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel.
• Highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills, and able to work in a remote environment.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
