The Vice President, Strategic Initiative Leadis responsible for the development and delivery of a transformational strategic initiative program. This role reports to the SVP, Delivery and Execution, who is accountable for overseeing the development, execution, and delivery of our strategic initiative programs.
Creates and executes effective organizational strategies and transformations on a large scale and collaborates effectively with senior management and executive leadership
Executes strategic sessions with key stakeholders to identify and define the strategic direction for assigned portfolio
Manages project analysis, planning, strategy, and implementation, ensuring projects within the strategic program are meeting or exceeding timelines and expectations enabling successful implementation
Conducts periodic reviews with the Sr Executive Team to evaluate current market and competitive intelligence to identify strategic adjustments and enhancements to the strategic initiative portfolio as required
Leads cross-functional teams on the design and delivery of strategic initiatives
Provides senior consulting services to internal or external business partners for the identification and implementation of assigned portfolio
Builds strong and productive business relationships with business partners
Works closely with the other OED teams to ensure that that there are effective plans in place for strategic initiatives
Supports the governance process for initiatives, providing accurate relevant information, and including business owners in the governance process

Pharmaceutical, biotech or other regulated industry experience preferred
Lean experience is an advantage
Education
MSc/BSc in a related discipline with experience, and/or extensive relevant experience in the industry
