Peer tutors assist and coach other OHSU SON students in becoming a more successful and independent learner. Peer tutors provide and help to integrate effective learning and study strategies for their assigned students, while at the same time helping to clarify and/or reinforce course content, assignments, and material. Peer tutors should be available between 4-10 hours per week for tutoring sessions.
Provide individualized content and skill-development tutoring to assigned students (tutees). Individual student assignments may be requested by course faculty.
Create and maintain a tutoring schedule convenient to both tutor and tutee.
