Applies generally accepted accounting principles to specific financial activity, including preparing and posting journal entries, compiling and analyzing transactional events, reporting and account reconciliation. Provides management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts; preparing financial statements. Complies with all legal requirements and maintains financial and company confidentiality.
Job Duties
Education
An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. In the absence of a degree, directly-related job experience analyzing GL accounts, cash and financial statements, and reporting coupled with a solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
