Position Summary
Odyssey is recruiting for a Cyber Test Requirements Engineer for a full time postion role in Huntsville, AL. In this role you will perform test event based network security analysis, top-level test requirements development, functional data analysis and assessment.
Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Provide SME functions in support of cyber test requirements and objectives definition to develop Cyber Test Objectives Memoranda
- Aide execution of complete product definitions, integrated timelines, and authority/responsibility definitions
- Interface and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure technical accuracy and verify correct capture of test requirements for inclusion in MDA test documentation
- Assist Phased Implementation Plan (PIP) increment coordination with MDA System Assessment and other stakeholders to execute test requirements and test objectives definition
- Identify and articulate Courses of Action (COAs), contingency plans, and implementation plans
- Propose and document techniques for improving implementation and execution of Cyber test event support
- Develop and present technical briefings to senior executives
- Identify, track, and assist in resolution of action / watch items resulting from the test requirements coordination process
- Identify needs of internal and external customers and address their concerns
- Support Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) and TIM reporting
- Generate status reports and meeting minutes
Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen
- Required Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret Security Clearance
- Required Education: Masters Degree In a STEM field
- Twelve years of engineering experience
- Experience supporting MDA in an engineering capacity
- 8570 IAM Level 2 Certification
- Clearly communicates complex ideas and produces/presents clear, well-organized presentations in relevant terms for audiences at all levels
- Proficiency with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Goal-oriented with excellent people skills, ability to work in a team environment, strong work ethic and proactive in all manners related to the job s:
Preferred Qualifications:
- Top Secret Clearance or above
- Understanding of MDA systems engineering practices and processes
- Familiarity with MDS-level documentation
