The Analyst, Agriculture, and Environmental Sustainability will report to the Director, Agriculture and Environmental Sustainability on the Corporate Sustainability and Stakeholder Relations team. This person will provide research and analytical support for the emerging global frameworks and other initiatives for agricultural sustainability, climate, and biodiversity, assessing their context and scope of applicability for Nutrien across its global footprint.

What you will do:

• Developand maintain reference information and data sources for agricultural GHG inventory and biodiversity reports including international, country-level, and sub-national data, reports fromleadingsustainabilityorganizations, and policy positions
• Developrelationshipswith internal stakeholders to provide teams with technical analysissupport, literature reviews, and preparation of presentation andcommunicationmaterials (eg. co-ordinate and facilitate meetings,createsupportingmaterials, agendas, and action items)
• Work with Nutrien’s Agriculture andEnvironmentteam to research and prepare materials on emerging frameworks, programs, or initiatives insustainableagriculture and thechallengesand opportunities across Nutrien’s global footprint
• Collaboratewith internal and external subject matterexpertsto ensure appropriatecommunicationswithin the sustainabilityframework
• Developanunderstandingof Nutrien’s operational footprint and the opportunities for Nutrien to lead andengageinsustainableagriculture
• Develop anunderstandingof GHG Carbon accountingprinciplesand how they are applied in offsets, insets (supply chain projects) in an agricultural context
• Developanunderstandingof the emerging frameworks on biodiversity measures and application for agriculture

What you will bring:

• Advanced degree in agricultural science (agronomy, soil science, crop science preferred), or advanced environmental science degree with agricultural experience. or undergrad degree in the same fields as above but with 3-5 years of experience.
• Experience inenvironmental, agriculture, andsustainabilitydata analysis and research
• Excellentcommunication skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
• Ability to assesssustainabilityframeworks with a technical background and knowledge of agricultural production systems
• Highly motivated and awillingness to learnin an evolving landscape
• A valid passport and Class 5driver’s license

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary range is between USD78,000 and USD97,000. This range is estimated for the Analyst, Agriculture & Sustainability position in Colorado, USA. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
