Responsibilities:

What your job duties will entail:
- Conducts effective, thorough, and objective Employee Relations investigations as necessary. Makes recommendations on complex issues
- Advises location leaders on team member engagement and retention efforts
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of team members, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required
- Propose, publish, and administer company policies
- Provides performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
- Acts as a liaison between front line team members and the HR Support Team regarding escalated Benefits, payroll, and Risk Management issues
- Identify training needs and conduct training for Region and Branch management including New Manager Checklist, Performance Management and Legal Compliance
- Complete special projects by clarifying project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions
- Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals
- Attends interdepartmental meetings with other managers
- Creates business partnership with Vice Presidents and Regional Managers to include assisting with operations and human resource initiatives
- Assist with acquisitions supporting team members through the acquisition lifecycle
- Assist with leave administration both FMLA and Workers Compensation
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports as needed
- Provide continuous feedback to peers &, management about trends, processes, and opportunities for improvement
- Performs other job duties as assigned

Qualifications:
What you need:
- 4 years: Intermediate level skill in the core HR competencies to include employee relations, recruiting, compliance, Inclusion/diversity and retention
- 4 years: years of progressively more responsible human resources generalist experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to travel up to 30%, including overnight
- To think strategically. Constantly looks for ways to improve operations
- The ability to multitask across multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Highly self-motivated and directed individual with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
