About the Role:
Provides senior and/or lead support for general Human Resources (HR) programs including one or more of the following: HR business partner / client-facing initiatives (training, Performance Management, etc.), Employee Relations, Workday HCM (reporting, input to process improvements and ad hoc entry), and other HR related areas. Collaborates with HR-specialty teams to develop and deliver HR programs and guidelines, and solutions to increase employee engagement and achieve company and HR team goals.

Your Contributions (include, but not limited to):
Works in coordination with the HRBP’s, Talent Acquisition, Workday HCM, HROps, and the Talent Management teams on a variety of HR initiatives
Partner on talent management projects using the Core Strengths assessment tool and other training programs for HRBPs. Assists in scheduling and arranging team-building sessions
Understands primary functions of Workday HCM for reporting and ad hoc entries on employee changes and leadership dashboards
Takes lead role in efforts focused on an outstanding employee experience from onboarding to exiting
Partner with front line managers on employee relations issues and triage to HRBPs as needed
Work in coordination with HR function to recommend, develop, implement, interpret and/or document HR guidelines, workflows, reports and approvals
Design, lead and implement and/or partner with the HRBP’s, Talent Acquisition, and the Talent Management teams on a variety of HR projects (e.g., review and updates to the new hire onboarding and orientation experience, HR communications strategy, cross-functional process improvement teams, employee engagement/culture-related programs, etc.)
Works with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) concerning complicated work-related issues when necessary
Respond effectively to various questions regarding HR-related projects and systems
Conducts research and analyzes data on assigned projects
Acts as a resource to less-experienced team members
Other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements:
BS/BA degree in Human Resources or related field and 4+ years of progressively responsible experience in human resources with exposure to and demonstrated competence in all functional areas OR
Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field and 2+ years of related experience
PHR, SPHR or SHRM-CP certification is highly preferred
Preferred experience: HR generalist in the life science or related industry, and HRIS
Knowledge and expertise in legal risk assessment as well as the application of employment law in most HR business situations
Understanding and practical application of federal, state and local labor regulations and policies is required; and ability to apply based on situation
Ability to think and consult tactically with some strategic consideration, has experience managing and leading change, and has effective influencing skills
OD, TM and team building expertise is preferred
Ability to deal effectively and confidentially with employees at all levels within a diverse workforce regarding HR related topics
Understands key business drivers and uses this understanding to accomplish work
Has strong understanding of processes, procedures and systems used to accomplish the work and recognizes downstream impact on other functional areas
Proficient with tools and processes that support work conducted by functional area
Thrives working within a team to solve problems and improve processes
Excellent computer skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
Detail oriented
Ability to meet multiple deadlines, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport and credibility at all levels is required
