NESC Staffing Looking for Quality Engineer at Remote Full Time

SUMMARY
The Quality Engineering Associate for Quality Assurance performs complex tasks to ensure compliance with quality standards. Primary responsibilities are using Geomagic revese engineering software to review, analyze, and report out on measurement data taken to support wew product introduction (NPI) purposes. This job will directly support Quality, Product Development, and Manufacturing Engineers in product, tooling, and process design decisions.
This position is able to be remote. Expected minimum six months, likely to extend.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Position Functions % of Position

• Develop programs and methods to reverse engineer CMM based laser scan data, both touch point and point cloud mapped results using Geomagic
• Conduct analyses of provided parts and data in coordination with the NPI team. Analysis to include observations on product alignment to print models, movement trends over time, etc
• Participate in cross-fucntional team reviews and present data analysis and participate in next steps and impact planning.
• Support Quality and PD team with exploratory part invesitigations as assigned

Education:
Bachelors degree in engineering/technical discipline or applicable job experience or equivalent

Experience:
Approx 5-10 years+ in Geomagic execution and analysis.
Expert level knowledge on reverse engineering and pricinples

Presentation and Reporting

COMPUTER SKILLS:

• Knowledge and use of PC-based systems is required
• Ability to create spreadsheets

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Working knowledge of general manufacturing processes
• Blueprint reading/GD&T interpretation
• Experience with Geomagic
• Experience with metology data and interpreting measurement output.
• Working knowledge of measurement scanning technology and metrology platforms

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 – $55.00 per hour
