Detailed primary tasks include:
– Supporting, organizing, and prioritizing daily task or issues identified by the RCB Manager
– Supporting the RCB Manager by coordinating significant tasks, barriers, and issues all NAWCAD Leadership, while maintaining the ability to work independently to plan and execute all project requirements.
– Provide project strategic guidance and recommendations to the RCB Manager.
– The PL will be responsible for communicating with RCB Manager, project team members, customers, stakeholders, and other technical competencies on a daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly basis to maintain project performance, cost, schedule sufficient to identify critical path delays and provide related mitigation strategies. The PL will also conduct Project Management Reviews consisting of C/S/P planning, documentation, tracking, reporting and associated metrics for the AIRWorks PM to adequately establish resource requirements and ensure project requirements are attained.
Primary Responsibility: The candidate will lead the effort in the planning and execution of project Cost/Schedule/Performance to include the following:
– Data base management for NAVAIR contracts, projects, and systems data.
– The PL is responsible for the Project Execution Strategy (PES) to include executing all project activities to include support and analysis, acquisition support planning, procurement contracting, creating, and managing schedules/spend plans, resource management, plan of action/milestones, document and data management, and sustainment activities.
– Work with US Government and Industry in completing the engineering, product support, manufacturing, personnel management / reporting, drafting/ reporting / maintaining system requirements, reviews of project Statements of Work (SOW), Engineering Performance Specifications, Request for Proposals and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverable acceptance and rejection activities, etc.
– Manage the review and tracking of all contract deliverables, project milestones, track and report project performance to plan.
Desired Experience:
– Familiarity with NAVAIR SETR events
– Ability to communicate and adapt well in dynamic team environments
– Good organizational skills
– Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
– Knowledge of the Financial Compendium
Location: Lexington Park, MD
Education: Master’s degree preferred.
Allowable Substitution: JOURNEYMAN: A Journeyman level person within a labor category has 3 to 10 years of experience related to the functional duties for that labor category and a BA/BS degree. A Journeyman level person typically performs
all functional duties independently.
SENIOR: A Senior level person within a labor category has over 10 years of experience related to the functional duties for that labor category and a MA/MS degree. A Senior level person typically works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently. A Senior level person may mentor and oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
Six (6) years of Additional Relevant Work Experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s Degree plus four (4) years of Additional Relevant Work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience: 10 years of experience related to the functional duties for that labor category.
Security Clearance: Secret or eligible for a Secret Clearance
