Mount Snow Child Care is looking to reopen our young toddler classroom! We need a qualified Lead Teacher to implement and support developmentally appropriate curriculum. Teachers are responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classrooms. Lead Teachers must understand children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. Lead Teachers must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children, have effective teaching teams, and have strong daily communication with families. Lead Teachers & Assistant Teachers will ensure a healthy classroom environment and all center policies and state regulations are met. Flexibility, patience, excellent team skills, positive attitude and great guest service is required. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Teachers will meet the requirements of Vermont’s CBCCPP regulations, holding a Level 4 certificate on the Northern Lights Career Ladder, its equivalent, or higher qualification.
Teacher Associates will meet the requirements of Vermont’s CBCCPP regulations, holding a level 3 certificate on the Northern Lights Career Ladder or its equivalent.
