Park Worker I:Under general supervision, to monitor and assist at wading pools; to perform general operations related duties; to perform general maintenance at buildings, on park grounds, athletic fields, parkways, and swimming pools; to assist with building rentals and athletic field preparations, to maintain green infrastructure, to assist with pavilion and shelter rentals. Performance of other duties may be assigned.
Park Worker II:Under general supervision, to perform general maintenance of buildings and park grounds; to assist with building rentals and athletic field preparations, to assist Forestry Workers in the pruning and planting of trees and shrubs; and to operate light singular motor vehicles as needed including hauling; to answer phones and assist clerical staff, and to conduct evening polling. Performance of other duties may be assigned.
Park Worker III:Under general supervision, to operate and maintain park wading pools; to assist with building rentals and athletic field preparations, to perform unskilled and semi-skilled labor; to perform routine customer service-related duties; to perform patrol functions for security and public safety; and to operate light singular motor vehicles as needed including hauling. Performance of other duties may be assigned. A valid Wisconsin Driver’s License is required at time of appointment and maintained during incumbency.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to accept, understand and follow written and/or verbal instruction; ability to observe safety precautions; ability to complete forms and records, and cash transactions; ability to distribute supplies and merchandise; ability to handle small hand tools and cleaning equipment; ability to perform in-door and out-door unskilled tasks related to the grooming and up-keep of parks grounds or buildings or the operation of park activity; ability to work effectively and harmoniously with the public, employees and others.
