The role of the Service Manager/Writer is to manage and direct all service department activities of a Midas retail store engaged in selling tires and related automotive parts and mechanical services.
You will be responsible for directing the work of a team of mechanics/technicians. Scheduling mechanics/technicians’ work, ordering parts, ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs exceeding customer expectations, the safety of personnel, and housekeeping of the shop
We service and repair cars and light trucks, including brakes, diagnostics, suspension, drive train, AC, engine repair’s and tires.
The ideal candidate will have previous Shop management experience and previous mechanical experience to be able to effectively sell and communicate with customers and lead a team of your own. They Will Also have NYS Inspectors license or be familiar with the process and be willing to obtain one over time.
We Use Systems like AllData, Identifix, and Ro Writer.

Primary Responsibilities:
Ensure effective daily operation of the service center to achieve sales and profit goals.
