Miami-Dade County Looking for Engineer 3 at Miami, FL Full Time

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and five years of engineering experience are required. A State of Florida Professional Engineer license or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology awarded or having been enrolled prior to July 1, 1979 and proof of having passed the fundamentals test for the State of Florida Professional Engineer license may substitute for the required education.

This position is responsible for the modeling and master planning of water and wastewater facilities to meet current and future demands, and regulatory requirements. The position entails model analyses of wastewater collection and water distribution facilities and the supervision of modeling staff and consultants. This position will also be responsible for gravity and force main modeling, model maintenance, model calibration planning, sewer basin development, planning, force main modeling, and data analytics.
