The Strategic Planning & Operations for Meta s Communications & Public Affairs team is seeking an experienced professional to support a pillar within our organization. We are looking for someone who is skilled at bringing together cross-functional stakeholders to accomplish goals, a clear strategic thinker, and someone who dives in quickly to solve problems and frame simple scalable solutions. The Strategic Planning & Operations team is responsible for driving the operations of one of Meta s most strategic teams. This is a highly cross-functional role that partners closely with Communications & Public Affairs leaders to ensure that smart strategies are set, initiatives are rigorously prioritized, concrete plans are developed, and that our teams are organized to succeed. This role is integral in driving operational excellence. Additionally, this role will design new strategies and programs, framing solutions that will help our organization achieve our goals and take us to the next level.

Strategy & Operations Manager, Communications & Public Affairs Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with executives to develop communications and public affairs strategy, including annual strategic planning processes
• Drive organizational operations, by leading rhythm of the business processes, as well as leading ad hoc strategic projects
• Help remove roadblocks, escalate misalignments and ensure teams are set up for successful execution
• Define and track org-level goals
• Communicate up, down, and across org to ensure transparency, alignment, and advocacy
• Design, operationalize, and manage processes that enable the team to move fast and do awesome things
• continually improve the team’s ways of working
• Lead organizational operations in areas including resourcing, headcount management, regular reporting, internal communications, and leadership meetings

Minimum Qualifications:

• 8+ years experience in management consulting, strategy and operations, program management, or comparable experience
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
• Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in either management consulting or in-house strategy and operations
• Prior experience working in a tech company
• MBA preferred
