Summary Overview:
You will have responsibility for performing all accounting, bookkeeping, finance, and tax operations.
Responsibilities
Conduct month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings
Prepare financial statements, including, but not limited to, balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows
Act as liaison between company and third party Tax Accountants
Handle processing tasks for accounts payable and accounts receivable, including collections
Review, code and post monthly credit card transactions
Perform monthly bank account reconciliations
Reconcile general ledger accounts, including but not limited to, prepaid expense, accrued liabilities, payroll, taxes, etc.
Perform monthly account analysis to understand and explain month over month variances
Complete sales and use tax reports and assist with compliance for all other taxes
Prepare reports for quarterly sales commissions
Manage inventory transactions and adjustments
Process purchase orders
Set up electronic invoices/payments
Maintain the procedures and policies manuals
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent foundation in basic bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable
Deep understanding of GAAP Principles
Experience managing inventory transactions
Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise
Experience with Google Workspace (MS Office Suite okay)
Strong work ethic
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Efficient and organized
Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing

Education and Professional Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or relevant certification
