Software Test Engineering – Intern

Job Description

Mercury Systems is looking for a Software Test Engineer Intern that is currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, Physics or related disciplines.

Mercury Systems Displays Division creates a wide variety of displays that are used as primary flight displays and secondary multifunction displays for military, law enforcement, and commercial use for both domestic and international customers. Software is a major part of these devices, therefore, there is a constant need to support each product that is available in the catalog. From improvements to new features, test will always support the verification validation process of every change made to better our displays.

This position will assist the Software Test team in daily activities. Daily tasks can include supporting in software verification and validation process, report writing, bug testing, or test automation development. Learning technical or functional skills are also available. This opportunity comes with the ability to interact with other departments throughout the day and have a sense of what else is available in other roles at Mercury.

Minimum/Basic Job Qualifications (skills, work experience, education/credentials):

• Enrollment status must be active in college
• US citizen
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office
• Must be able to work on site at the Gulf Breeze location
• Eger to learn
• Eger to help
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of Programming Languages
• Knowledge of Operating Systems
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
• Considers themselves a true nerd
