McLeod Centers for Wellbeing, recently transitioned from McLeod Addictive Disease Center, was founded in 1969 in Charlotte. It has since grown to be the largest provider of comprehensive substance use disorder treatment in western North Carolina. McLeod Centers is currently accepting applications for a Full-time Adult Residential Addiction Treatment Services RN for its adult residential treatment program located in Charlotte.
What does this position do for the agency? The position is responsible for the following, with other duties as assigned:
Administer medication to clients according to medical order.
Maintain accurate record-keeping and notes as required.
Perform admissions on new clients.
Coordinate clients’ medical appointments, including follow up care and refills as necessary.
Ensure doctor’s orders are followed.
Respond to staff needs – give PPD tests, respond to medical codes.
Audit charts, ensures medical inventory is stocked.
What kind of education and experience is needed?
Licensed by the North Carolina Board of Nursing as an RN,or holds a license with multi-state practice privileges by authority of the Nurse Licensure Compact. Prior experience not necessary; we will train!
