We are looking to hire an Injection Specialist to support the East USA/Canada geographical territory that will range from Chicago to Eastern Canada.

Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to increase technical sales and market exposure in the Chemical, Mineral & Cementitious Grouting market for underground and civil industries.

This is just a high-level overview of the role we need you to fill for us

Working in the Underground Tunneling, Mining, and Civil construction market in Central and Northeastern United States and Eastern Canada. This position implements the UGC strategy and supports and supervises UGC Segment Specialists. Building a solid network of contacts, delivering expertise to engineers and contractors at all levels including specifiers and project managers, and decision-makers. Be a key resource for Tunneling, Civil Underground projects, and Mining. You will improve and maintain business at existing accounts and projects; support newly attained “major” accounts and provide onsite technical support. You will build and provide technical and sales strategies including action plans and analysis for gaining business, which includes providing solutions and support for complex technical issues, and assisting in product application (internal and external).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining industry relationships with major customers and associations within the region. Ensures that Company initiatives, policies, and procedures are implemented and communicated effectively to all direct reports.
• This position implements and complies with Company initiatives, policies, and procedures.

• Required to travel outside a specific region to provide onsite technical support.

Requirements:

• Engineering or Construction Management Degree required, or proven technical job experience in the required fields,
• (Civil/Mining and/or Mechanical preferred) plus, 10 Years of Industry experience,
• 5 years’ sales/business experience related to the construction industry
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, technical field experience, analytical engineering skills, other computer skills, and detailed knowledge of the industry are a must.

These skills and experiences will make you a good fit for this role:

• Ability to provide action plans and analysis for gaining business which includes providing support for complex technical issues and assisting in product training.
• Identifying target projects and contractors, and promoting product technologies related to all facets of injection, including tunneling, mining, and civil construction.
• Must be physically capable of performing work duties in tunnel and underground civil operation environments 2-3 times per week.
• Position will consist of 50% travel.
• Informs appropriate organizational function of competitive and market trends by analyzing, and developing action plans for prioritized and assigned accounts.
• Know the market and plan to counteract competitive pressure through value selling.

A day in the life:

• Travel to projects in Eastern US, Central, and Eastern Canada
• Work within UGC regional and global team through weekly conversation and reporting
• Preparation of monthly sales report focusing on projects, potentials, internal improvement, and competitive activity
• Work within Cross BU and Cross BL initiatives
• Develop and support project forecasting tools including project timelines (Gannt) related to product procurement and sales
• Attendance at pertinent organizations and trade shows.
