Max Technologies Looking for Network Support Technician at Seattle, WA Full Time

We’re looking to hire a technology generalist that has confidence in troubleshooting and solving a spectrum of different technologies used by our customers. The specific role has known responsibility to maintain existing customer technology solutions: PC & Mac OS, mobile device applications, industry specific applications (e.g. DSN, Dentrix), cloud solutions, hosted VoIP, security monitoring systems, and more

Max Technologies is a small-sized IT consulting and infrastructure company offering each employee opportunity to seek experience in the diverse set of technology requests from our customers. You should anticipate and welcome technology challenges that force you to pull from different resources to find resolution. You will directly have responsibility for:

– Inbound support calls

– PC host troubleshooting over phone and/or collaboration applications

– Proactive monitoring of customer solutions

The ideal set of skills for this role will include:

– General technical inclination (are you the person everyone you know asks for technology guidance?)

– Confidence in Windows PC OS and comfort in learning different OS (e.g. Mac, other) when exposed

– Understanding of the OSI layers and basic troubleshooting for different network conditions/issues

– Troubleshooting skills that span different areas of technology (e.g. software/hardware/service/licensing/networking/cloud applications/etc.)

– Ambitious inter-office and external communication skills, this role will often be the face of the company when customer’s call for help

– Strong sense of confidence with technology

– Wireless network experience is valuable

– Comfortable in both major mobile operating systems (e.g. Android, iOS)

– General understanding of the below acronyms/terms:

o DHCP

o IP

o DNS

o VPN

o WiFi

o Ethernet

o PoE

o AP

o TLS

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
