As a Machine Setup /Operator, you will maximize efficiency through setups and operation of a group of clearing, fluting, and point grinding machines to complete customer orders.

Responsibilities
• Set up and operate various production machinery to complete customer orders according to blueprint specifications
• Run a bank of machines, owning changeovers and setups
• Ensure quality and production goals are achieved
• Operate grinders
• Move materials as needed
• Establish good housekeeping practices and maintain Environmental, Quality, and Quantity (EQQ) requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• 1+ years of experience in production machinery setup and operation
• Exceptional mechanical aptitude
• Basic computer skills and exposure to CNC machinery
• Capacity to comprehend, follow instructions, multi-task, and work independently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Capacity to stand and walk for the duration of the shift, utilize excellent visual acuity (corrected) and manual dexterity, wear required PPE, follow COVID protocols, and lift 50 pounds
