As an integral team member, the Controls Engineer will work with some of the most talented software programmers in the industry and be responsible for programming motion control systems and the associated interfacing with PLCs, HMI, and Servo Drive Systems necessary to make our machines run.

Controls Engineer Skills & Experience:
Experience in Motion Control Programming; Complex Kinematic Solutions for five or more axis ideal.
Comfortable with programmable logic controller software language and logic: Delta Tau or Siemans motion controller preferred.
ABB, Fanuc, and Kuka robot programming experience is a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio C# required.
Perform system design, programming, simulation, testing, start-up, and commissioning.
Responsible for motor sizing, Torque/speed calculation, and motion mechanism selection, including gearing, timing belt, reducer, rack and pinion, lead screw, conveyor, etc.
Identify complex problems and review related information to implement solutions.
Interface with customers to support sales, installation, and service to meet quality standards.
