Markin Tubing, LP Looking for Quality Coordinator at Wyoming, NY Full Time

Markin Tubing, a leading manufacturer of steel tubing, is seeking a Quality Coordinator in our Wyoming, NY facility.

Primary Summary:

Maintains controlled documents in accordance with IATF-16949 requirements for the company.  Performs engineering, analysis, and problem-solving services.  Conducts professional and technical communications.  Ensures customer requirements are addressed.

Position Responsibilities Include:

• Maintain the document control system and records management (electronic and paper).
• Assists Process Owners with documentation revisions, updates, and reviews.
• Supports related documentation matters such as updates to PFMEAs, Corrective Actions, and Continual Improvement projects.
• Conducts and assists QM with coordinating internal auditing. Competent in Product and Manufacturing Process Audits.
• Resolve product and or applications problems utilizing structured problem-solving methods and completion of 8D reports.
• Collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams to determine root cause and appropriate corrective actions for internal and external failures.
• Supports other quality department activities such as lab reports, PPAPs, and customer satisfaction communications as required.

Desired attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Prior experience with ISO and IATF standards.
• Customer service experience essential.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing organization.
• Knowledge of AIAG Core Tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; Excel, Word, Access, Visio, Outlook and Power Point.
• Knowledge and experience with disciplined problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of self-motivation and a strong sense of urgency.
