We are currently searching for an experienced Associate Director, SAS Programming to join our Biometrics team.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Developing and/or validating SAS programs of SDTM and/or ADaM datasets.
• Developing and/or validating SAS programs that create accurate data displays and outputs.
• Developing and validating SAS programs for integrated datasets from various studies/projects.
• Providing programming support to CDISC based e-submissions.
• Supporting all phases of clinical studies and publication activities.
• Supporting the creation and improvement of SAS programming environment by developing SAS macros and implementing new computing techniques and software.
• Supervising and supporting outsourcing activities.
• Leading statistical programming activities across a compound/compounds and oversight activities ensuring quality and timelines.
• Assisting Statistical Programming lead to ensure successful implementation of Statistical Programming strategies and efficient execution of the statistical analyses for the assigned clinical projects.
• Participating in and/or lead initiatives that seek diverse input from multiple constituents and stakeholders to drive innovative solutions.
• Identifying opportunities and anticipating changes in the business landscape through an understanding and ongoing assessment of the environment affecting the business
• Being proactive, solution-oriented, and innovative.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Information Technology or related discipline. Advance degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 8 years of professional experience with an Advance degree.
• Expert experience in SDTM and ADaM (as applicable), acquainted with CDISC guidelines and requirements.
• Company/Industry Related Knowledge: In-depth SAS Programming knowledge.
• Broad knowledge of the clinical development process from development, launch through life cycle management.
• Ability to influence strategically and persuade thoughtfully to acquire desired outcomes while maintaining effective, positive, organizational relationships.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
• Proven skills as an effective team player who can engender credibility and confidence within and outside the company.
• Expertise across statistical programming and computing environments.
• Up to 10% travel may be required based upon business needs.
