Mariner Wealth Advisors Looking for Staff Accountant at Remote Full Time

The staff accountant is a critical part of the Mariner Wealth Advisors team, responsible for delivering extraordinary client service and care to our Family Office clients. As one of the first associate’s clients connect with, the staff accountant is instrumental in making sure clients have a positive experience that exceeds their expectations. Responsibilities:

• Accountant for multiple clients – including Ultra High Net Worth Families, Businesses and Private Foundations
• Receive, approve, and maintain monthly vendor invoices, cut checks and record monthly activity in accounting software
• Prepare and record monthly and quarterly invoicing, receivables, credit card allocations and intercompany transactions
• Reconcile bank and investment statements
• Process payroll for clients and help with quarterly reports.
• Maintain fixed assets in fixed asset software and keep depreciation updated
• Prepare monthly financial statements and other reports as needed.
• Work with client advisors to provide them with reports and documents as needed
• Assists tax professionals with tax information as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service and build rapport with clients
• Other duties will be determined and discussed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
• 3 plus years accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Familiarity with bookkeeping software such as Quickbook, Bill.com, Xero or Harvest
